We could have bought in some bland, generic training, but I am glad we didn't; what we got from Barry was the real artisanal stuff.

I approached Barry to do some training for our front-line staff who are supporting people with complex needs while drawing on a wealth of life experience but with minimal therapeutic training.

Barry has an infectious vision for the potential of every conversation and how much difference a single interaction can make. You can experience this just by talking to him. He quickly and accurately intuited the needs of our staff and took great care to develop a program based on SFBT approaches in a trauma-informed support setting that connected with practical, everyday messy challenges that our workers experienced.

The tailored course structure of three webinars with open access to 1-1 support during and after the delivery was a powerful combination that fitted extremely well into the quirks of our organisation.
